This is NOT a top-down bottom-up shade, the upper pleated sheer does NOT lower from the top rail! They have no lift cords and are easy to raise and lower with a light touch. Decor Avenue Day/Night Shades allow NO light to pass through the lower blackout fabric. The upper pleated sheer fabric, attached to the top valance, allows visibility through the fabric. For this DAY/NIGHT SHADE IM (Inside Mount) meaning mounted inside the window frame or OM (Outside Mount) meaning mounted on the wall outside of the frame options are available.

For IM: measure your window horizontally in three places; top, middle and bottom, use the smallest measurement rounded down to the nearest 1/4 inch and order this width. We will take the deduction (1/4 inch) needed to allow raising and lowering the shade within the window opening.

For OM: measure your window horizontally in three places; top, middle and bottom and add at least 3 inches to the width and height. Round to the nearest ¼” inch and order that size to ensure complete coverage and privacy.

Each 9/16-inch single cell cellular/pleated sheer cordless Day/Night shade includes simple snap-in brackets (that fit for both inside mount and outside mount applications) and mounting hardware.
