La Cible No. 8 Outside Caliper 220mm - 164555 by Woodcraft La Cible is French for “The Target”, and the No. 8 Outside Caliper is without a doubt “on target.” Made to exacting standards in St. Etienne, France, by Ledin Construction, the high carbon steel tool line named La Cible is first forged and then machined to provide maximum strength and rigidity.
The double box joint is hot riveted and will move smoothly and hold settings. The beautiful black gunmetal finish was chosen to prevent corrosion. The No. 8 Outside Caliper is fashioned with softened angles throughout and round legs to improve overall aesthetics and comfort while in use. Points are intentionally offset to prevent damage when legs are fully closed.
